For Our Senior Community Members
Here are some valuable programs tailored specifically for seniors::
Property Tax Rebate Program: Learn about eligibility and how to apply for the tax rebate program designed to provide financial relief to eligible seniors.
Get Involved with SAGE: The Senior Adults for Greater Education (S.A.G.E.) program offers an excellent opportunity for seniors to volunteer in our schools. Last year, S.A.G.E. volunteers contributed over 2,160 hours in our classrooms! If you’re interested in making a difference, check out the website for more details on how to get involved.
Did You Know?
All volunteers at Council Rock schools are required by law to complete necessary clearances to ensure the safety of our students. These measures help create a secure environment for everyone. To learn more about the volunteer clearance process, visit Volunteer Procedures.
Seeing my son begin to master sailing this summer, I was reminded of how much our kids grow outside the classroom. They learn vital and lifelong skills, such as critical thinking, teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication. As we dive into the hustle and bustle of back to school, take a moment to marvel at how your child is even more prepared for the new school year because of their summer adventures.
Facilities Committee Update
Exciting progress is being made across our district! At the recent facilities committee meeting, several important updates were shared:
Sol Feinstone Elementary Renovations: After three years of work, renovations at Sol Feinstone Elementary are nearing completion. This project has transformed the school, enhancing the learning environment for students and staff alike. The final touches are being added, and the school will be ready with no construction disruptions as we start the new year!
Council Rock High School North Natatorium: A new boiler installation is almost complete at the high school’s indoor pool, ensuring comfortable temperatures for our students and community members. This upgrade will be ready just in time for the start of school activities.
These projects are a testament to the ongoing commitment to provide top-notch facilities for our students and community.
